Considered a sacred ingredient in India, turmeric root has been the subject of numerous scientific publications demonstrating its anti-inflammatory effects. It owes its properties to polyphenols, the main one being curcumin. However, curcumin alone is practically not bioavailable to the body. An association with another bio-active agent can improve this bioavailability.

PHYTOMANCE CURCUMA+ provides for 3 tablets:

210,50 mg of turmeric extract titrated to 200 mg of curcumin, a powerful general anti-inflammatory, which controls the body's inflammatory response regardless of the location of the pain;
0,35 mg black pepper extract titrated to 0,33 mg piperine, which promotes the absorption of curcumin.

Black pepper is the fruit of the Piper nigrum, a plant native to India. Its fruits are harvested while still green and unripe, then they are boiled and left to dry for about ten days. This is when the small, black, dried peppercorns are obtained. Pepper has remarkable digestive virtues. It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Pepper contains piperine, which favours the absorption as well as the bioavailability of many molecules (vitamins, minerals, medicine, polyphenols, etc.). Certain molecules, such as curcumin, see their bioavailability multiplied by 20 when combined with piperine. Piperine also acts against certain intestinal disorders. The virtues of piperine are particularly numerous since it has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties. Alkaloid with a pungent taste, piperine is one of the molecules found in spices from the botanical family of piperae, such as black pepper (Piper nigrum).

Using advice

1 half tablet per day before the main meals, for at least 1 month. Repeat if necessary.

It is not recommended for use by people taking anticoagulants, anticancer drugs or immunosuppressants or suffering from biliary tract diseases.
