Prevent irritable bowel syndrome
Digestion and Transit
Abdominal pain, alternating constipation and diarrhoea, increased intestinal sensitivity. What if it was irritable bowel syndrome? This disorder is indeed very common, especially among teenagers and young women.
Irritable bowel syndrome is actually a dysfunction or hypersensitivity of the intestine that results in digestive discomfort and pain. The causes are still unknown, which is why it is interesting to act preventively by learning how to manage stress and rebalance one's diet.
To regain and maintain your intestinal well-being, try to limit foods that cause bloating and gas (raw vegetables, broccoli, soft drinks...). Fill up on proteins (meat, eggs...) to reduce pain and don't forget to add fibre (or on the contrary, reduce their consumption in case of diarrhea).
To prevent the symptoms of irritable bowel, think about probiotics!
Probiotics are bacteria that are naturally present in the intestine and play a role in digestion and the assimilation of nutrients. Regular probiotic cures will therefore help relieve your symptoms.
