Nutrihyl® : a patented hyaluronic acid active ingredient
Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan which is one of the major and essential constituents of our dermis; it is responsible for its maintenance and elasticity.
Hyaluronic acid is produced by fibroblasts and keratinocytes. It has exceptional moisturizing properties. Indeed, this molecule has the capacity to retain up to 1,000 times its weight in water, which ensures optimal hydration of the skin.
However, the synthesis and quality of hyaluronic acid decreases with age. As a result, the skin becomes dehydrated and loses its density.
Nutrihyl® is a hyaluronic acid produced by biotechnology (bacterial fermentation). This orally absorbed hyaluronic acid is distributed to many tissues, including the skin, and increases skin hydration1.
