Broad-spectrum oregano essential oil
The body is constantly under attack from viruses, bacteria and fungi. These can cause infections of the respiratory and ENT tracts, digestive tract, urinary tract (cystitis) or genital tract (fungal infections).
Among these infections, intestinal disorders in particular stand out, resulting from the abnormal proliferation of bacteria (SIBO*) or fungi such as Candida albicans (SIFO** or candidiasis). These infections are responsible for the appearance of uncomfortable digestive symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, spasms or alternating diarrhoea and constipation.
The body therefore needs a defence system against these infections: the immune response. This is what enables pathogens to be eliminated through the intervention of immune cells.

The HECT (Huile Essentielle ChémoTypée) label guarantees that the essential oil selected is chemotyped, i.e. its chemical composition is known and has been determined by chromatographic analysis and is regularly monitored. In particular, the carvacrol and γ-terpinene content is guaranteed.

3. Gastro-resistant capsules
PHYSIOMANCE Origan is packaged in gastro-resistant capsules to ensure optimum assimilation of the essential oil and release of the active ingredients in the intestine, thus protecting the stomach, which is sometimes sensitive to essential oils.
PHYSIOMANCE Origan is formulated with first cold-pressed organic olive oil, the carrier oil of the essential oil. The organic olive oil selected by Laboratoire Therascience is an oil of superior nutritional quality but also with less environmental impact than conventional oils.

Oregano is a sub-shrub that grows up to 80 cm tall and is found in Asia and around the Mediterranean. Oregano is renowned for its flavour and is often used in cooking, particularly in Portuguese and Italian cuisine, in tomato sauces. The Greeks used oregano as a symbol of joy and happiness to cure heartache. But oregano essential oil has also long been used for its anti-infectious properties, thanks to its content of polyphenols such as carvacrol and thymol. In fact, research has shown its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal potential, which is why it is so useful for relieving a range of infections, including ENT diseases and digestive disorders such as SIBO and SIFO.
