Propolis means "entrance to a city" in ancient Greek. This name refers to its role in protecting the beehive. Harvested by bees from certain tree buds such as fir, birch or poplar, propolis protects the hive from microbes by acting as a real disinfectant or natural shield. The composition of propolis can change according to the plants the bees visit. However, even if the compositions differ, propolis retains its virtues. As a general rule, propolis is composed as follows: resin (flavonoids, esters, phenolic acids...) 50 to 55%, wax 30 to 35%, volatile or essential oils 5 to 10%, pollen 5%, miscellaneous substances 5%.
Using advice
2 capsules 3 times a day before the main meals, for a minimum of 10 days. Repeat if necessary.
