PHYSIOMANCE® L-Tyrosine provides 1.5 g of L-Tyrosine, an essential amino acid which is a precursor of dopamine, the hormone responsible for motivation and pleasure.
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter synthesised by certain nerve cells from tyrosine. It enables communication within the nervous system and has a direct influence on behaviour. The brain's dopaminergic networks are closely associated with exploratory behaviour, vigilance, pleasure-seeking and active avoidance of punishment (flight or fight).
