The need to eat something sweet, preferably at the end of the day, can be a sign of a lack of serotonin. Indeed, the intake of sugar leads to a secretion of insulin which allows the use of amino acids such as tryptophan. The latter allows the synthesis of serotonin, the neurotransmitter that promotes good mood and appeasement at the end of the day.

Using advice

1 bar per day, preferably at 5pm, away from any kind of protein (minimum 3 hours).
