The quality commitments of the Teoliance brand
The THERASCIENCE Laboratory is committed to offering solutions adapted to your patients thanks to a complete range of microbiota strains : TEOLIANCE®.
Prof. Lionel Bueno (INRA) and our Research and Development team have selected different strains of microbiota all meeting precise quality criteria. Each of these strains exerts specific actions according to the targeted problems and is presented in a microencapsulated form so as to guarantee its viability during its passage through the different parts of the digestive tract.
QUALITY CRITERIA FOR EFFECTIVENESS
Each of our strains has been selected according to 5 quality criteria :
- Total innocuousness ;
- Intrinsic resistance to salivary, gastric, biliary and pancreatic juices ;
- Capacity for growth in the intestine ;
- Demonstrated beneficial effects on human health ;
- Effective doses in humans based on clinical studies, with a minimum concentration of 109 CFU* per capsule, tablet or stick.

PROBIO-PROTECT®: PATENTED BIOTECHNOLOGY FOR INDIVIDUAL MICROENCAPSULATION OF MICROBIOTA STRAINS
The TEOLIANCE® microbiota strains are protected by an innovative microencapsulation process patented by the THERASCIENCE Laboratory: Probio-protect®.
Each of the strains is individually microencapsulated in a coating layer of plant origin, specially designed to allow the release of active ingredients in the intestine and thus :
- Avoid any reduction in the quality of the strains when putting them into capsules, tablets or sticks;
- Guarantee their protection against oxidation, light, heat, humidity ;
- Protect the strains during their passage through the different parts of the digestive tract ;
- Prevent any interaction with other components.
To guarantee optimal efficacy and synergy of action, the strains only come into contact with the other active ingredients when they are released into the intestinal environment.
SUVIMINE PROTECT®: PATENTED MICROENCAPSULATION PROCESS FOR VITAMINS
This innovative microencapsulation process, patented by the THERASCIENCE Laboratory, allows the vitamins used to be optimally protected from interactions with microbiota strains.
DR CAPS™: INNOVATIVE CAPSULES
All the products in the TEOLIANCE® brand are packaged in capsules benefiting from the new generation DR technology caps™.
These vegetarian capsules have a low moisture content and are gastro-resistant at acidic pH. The active ingredients are therefore protected in the capsule during their passage through the stomach before being released into the intestinal environment.
Contrary to conventional capsules, DR caps™ of vegetable origin is totally gastro-resistant to acidic pH. It dissolves in the intestine, releasing the strains of microbiota.
THREE-LAYER ALUMINIUM STICKS
TEOLIANCE® Enfant / Kids (in Belgium) and TEOLIANCE® Immu 5 / I-5 (in Belgium) are packaged in three-layer aluminium sticks guaranteeing a perfect seal. Moreover, the packaging is carried out in a nitrogen atmosphere, which prevents any contact with oxygen and provides a second level of protection against oxidation, in addition to the individual microencapsulation of the probiotic strains.
