Metabolites of the microbiota are molecules produced by the bacteria of the microbiota in the presence of dietary fibre, also known as prebiotics. These fibres are fermented by enzymes possessed by our bacteria and are used as an energy source by these bacteria. The bacteria then produce metabolites: postbiotics. Postbiotics can be peptides, but also short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), such as butyrate. These metabolites serve both the bacteria of the microbiota and the host cells (us), which benefit from them: a perfect illustration of the close relationship between the host and the microbiota.
1 to 2 capsules in the morning and 1 to 2 capsules in the evening during meals, for a minimum of 30 days or as advised by your health professional. Repeat if necessary.
